Acceptance

By using LemonGuard, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

These terms apply to the LemonGuard mobile app, website, generated reports, support flows, and related services.

Informational product

LemonGuard provides buyer triage and used-car research for informational purposes only. It is not a mechanical inspection, safety certification, emissions certification, title opinion, lien search, warranty, insurance product, or guarantee of vehicle condition.

LemonGuard cannot confirm hidden mechanical problems, seller honesty, accident history, title status, service history, recall completion, safety, reliability, or whether a vehicle is a good purchase. Always get an independent inspection before buying a used vehicle.

User-provided information and AI

Reports depend on public data, user-provided listing details, screenshots, VINs, vehicle details, audio recordings, photos, and AI analysis. Results may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.

You are responsible for the information you submit and for how you use LemonGuard results. Do not submit information you do not have the right to use, and do not submit unnecessary sensitive personal information.

Purchases and subscriptions

Paid reports and subscriptions are purchased in the mobile app through Apple App Store or Google Play billing. LemonGuard uses RevenueCat to manage purchase status, subscriptions, and entitlements.

Subscription cancellation, billing management, and refund requests are handled through Apple or Google according to the store where you purchased. LemonGuard cannot process payment card details by email.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse LemonGuard, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass purchase gates, scrape the service, submit malicious content, reverse engineer protected systems, or use LemonGuard in a way that violates law or platform rules.

LemonGuard may limit, suspend, or block access when needed to protect users, prevent abuse, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Reports and intellectual property

LemonGuard, the website, app design, software, branding, and generated report format are owned by LemonGuard or its licensors. You may use reports for your personal used-car buying decisions.

You should not present LemonGuard output as a certified inspection, professional mechanic diagnosis, safety certification, or guarantee.

Account data requests

The app includes account deletion and data export request paths tied to the app customer ID. Some records may remain where required for legal, security, payment, fraud-prevention, or operational reasons.

Service changes and availability

LemonGuard may change, pause, or discontinue features, reports, pricing, supported inputs, providers, or availability. We try to keep the product useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Disclaimers and liability

LemonGuard is provided as an informational tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, LemonGuard disclaims warranties and is not responsible for purchase decisions, seller conduct, vehicle defects, missed issues, repair costs, financing decisions, insurance decisions, registration problems, title problems, or other losses related to a vehicle transaction.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
